If you’re going to bomb a hill on a skateboard, any injury coming your way is more than likely your fault. Sure, there could be some “act of God” scenario where you’re hit by a falling piano as you slide down the hill, but more often than not, if you try to go full speed down a big decline, you’re taking your life into your own hands.

That said, some people really don’t like taking responsibility for their own actions. If you need an example of this, look no further than San Francisco, where one skateboarder recently got into an accident while going downhill. According to him and his buddies, however, it’s not his fault.

That’s right: the man may have bombed the hill and rode right through a stop sign, but it’s the car that legally turned in front of him’s fault that he got hurt. “Why, bro?” the cameraman asks the driver. “You are fucking stupid! I literally told you to stop your car!”

Now, I understand the skateboarder getting upset. Even if it’s your fault, it’s more than understandable to pop off a bit after having all of your ribs shattered. But the cameraman’s hubris is truly something to behold — in his mind, his friend *couldn’t* be wrong, because he was the one who was injured. Solid logic, no notes.

By the end of the video, the driver apologizes, presumably because he genuinely feels bad about the skater’s injury, or he just wants to get the group out of his hair. The cameraman also says that no one should be called, likely knowing that any authority on the scene would very quickly side with the Prius driver.

On the plus side, it doesn’t seem like the skater’s body left a dent in the car. Built to last, those Toyotas!
